John Egan, Brescia University - Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Freshman - Elizabethtown, KY

Brescia University freshman John Egan was named the KIAC men's cross country runner of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, September 5^th. Egan established a new school record in the 5k at the Belmont/Vanderbilt Cross Country Opener hosted by Belmont University on September 2^nd. The event was an all NCAA Division I meet with eleven Division I schools participating. The Brescia freshman finished the race with a time of 16:55. Brescia cross country will return to action when they travel to an event hosted by Michigan State University on September 16^th.
