Indiana University Southeast senior Tia Wineinger was named the KIAC women's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, January 9th.
IU Southeast won their only game last week. They defeated Alice Lloyd College on the road 82-54. Wineinger scored a career high 23 points and collected 8 rebounds. The senior forward shot 71.4 percent from the field (10-of-14). She is currently averaging 7.89 points and 5.83 rebounds per game for the Grenadiers.
IU Southeast is currently 13-5 overall and 3-0 in conference play. They will return to action on January 14th when they travel to Asbury University for a conference game.
