Point Park University senior Josh Arnold was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 19th.
The Pioneers finished last week 1-1 losing to NCAA Division II Lake Erie on the road 95-79 and defeating No. 34 Saint Francis (Ind.) 107-97. For the week, Arnold averaged 27 points, 10 rebounds, 2.5 blocks, and 3 steals. He recorded 23 points and 13 rebounds against NCAA Division II Lake Erie. The senior guard finished the week with 31 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 blocks in the Pioneers win against Saint Francis. He connected on 47.7 percent of his field goal attempts (21-of-44) last week.
Point Park is currently 3-1 overall. They will return to action on November 21st when they host Alice Lloyd College to open conference play.
