Point Park University senior Babatunde Somoye was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 5th. Point Park won both games last week. They defeated Western Ontario 89-72 and the University of Toronto 94-85. Somoye averaged a double-double with 16 points and 12.5 rebounds. He made 54.2 percent of his field goal attempts (13-of-24). The senior center recorded 21 points, 19 rebounds, and 2 blocks against Western Ontario. Point Park is currently 2-0 overall. The Pioneers will return to action on November 14th when they travel to Lake Erie.
