Cameron Mitchell, Indiana University Southeast -- Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Indiana University Southeast junior Cameron Mitchell was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, December 10^th.

Mitchell averaged 24.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists last week. He connected on 58.6 percent (17-of-29) field goal attempts and 60 percent (6-of-10) behind the 3-point line. The junior guard tallied 29 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in a 78-71 loss to Saint Francis. He finished the week with 20 points, 3 assists and 7 steals in a 94-82 win against Spalding University. Mitchell leads IU Southeast and ranks 6^th in the conference with 16.8 points per game.

The Grenadiers are currently 7-3 overall and 1-0 in conference play. They are ranked 11^th in the latest NAIA Division II Coaches' Poll. They will return to action on December 11^th when they travel to St. Catharine's.
