Kortney Woods, Indiana University Southeast -- Women's Basketball Player of the Week

6-0 Senior - Louisville, KY

Indiana University Southeast senior Kortney Woods was named the KIAC women's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, December 17th.

Woods averaged 17.5 points, 3 rebounds and 3 blocked shots last week as the Grenadiers finished the week 1-1. The senior center shot 83.3 percent (15-of-18) from the field. She scored 17 points and grabbed 3 rebounds in a 68-67 win against Grace College. Woods finished the week with 18 points, 3 rebounds and 5 blocked shots in a 75-73 loss to Taylor University. She currently ranks 6th in NAIA Division II blocked shots per game (2.75).

Indiana University Southeast is currently 6-5overall and 0-2 in conference play. They will return to action on December 20th when they travel to St. Mary of the Woods.
