Indiana University East senior Marcus Isaac was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Sunday, December 23rd.
Isaac averaged 23 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals as IU East finished the week with a 2-0 record. He connected on 55.6 percent (20-of-36) from the field. Isaac matched a season high with 28 points in an 82-77 win against Goshen College. The senior guard also had 4 rebounds and 2 steals. He then passed 1,000 career points with 18 points in an 87-77 win against University of Michigan-Dearborn. His 17.2 points per game leads the Red Wolves.
Indiana University East is currently 9-4 overall. They will return to action on January 2nd when they travel to Brescia University.
