Grenadier Men Win Fifth-Straight KIAC Title
BEREA, Ky. - The No.14-ranked IU Southeast Grenadiers completed IU Southeast's of KIAC championship games on Tuesday night with 99-63 victory over Brescia for its fifth-straight KIAC Men's Basketball Tournament championship.

The gamechanger was IU Southeast success from three-point range and free-throw shooting. The Grenadiers hit six of twelve of their three-point shots in the opening half and 15 of 19 of their free throws to pad its lead. IU Southeast led 51-30 at the half.

The play of two freshmen paved the way to the championship. Haris Batalevic was a spark off the bench and finished the game with 20 points. He was six of nine from three-point range. Simpson led all scorers with 23 points. Kegan Clark had 11 points. Brice Mitchell added 10 points and four rebounds. Martez Dow had 10 points.

IU Southeast continued to connect from long-range and finished shooting 9-21 from three-point range . The Grenadiers shot 55 percent for the game and shot 73 percent from the charity stripe on 24-33 shooting.

IU Southeast's bench outscored Brescia 47-15 and they outrebounded the Bearcats 42-31.

Brescia was led by Myron Christian's 15 points.
