Marcus Isaac, Indiana University East -- Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Indiana University East junior Marcus Isaac was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, February 6^th. This is his second conference player of the week award of the season.

Isaac averaged 24.5 points, 6 rebounds, and 4.5 steals per game last week as the Red Wolves won a pair of conference games. On Thursday, he scored a career-high 34 points and added 6 rebounds and 5 steals in an 87-75 win over Brescia University. Isaac ended his week with 15 points and 6 rebounds in an 83-72 win over Alice Lloyd on Saturday. For the week, the junior guard shot 46.9 percent (15-of-32) from the field and 50 percent (9-of-18) from behind the 3-point line. Isaac ranks fifth in NAIA Division II 3-point field goal percentage (47.9) and is 23^rd in points per game (19.33).

The Red Wolves are 22-5 overall and 9-1 in conference play. They were ranked 12^th in the January 30^th NAIA Division II poll and will return to action on February 10^th when they travel to Berea College.
