Indiana University Southeast sophomore Jenna Swain was named the KIAC softball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 12th.
Swain pitched 9 innings over two games last week and earned the win in both contests. She finished the week with a 2.93 earned run average. The sophomore pitcher only allowed five hits and struck out 13 opposing batters. Swain picked up wins against Concordia and Indiana Tech. She has pitched 31 innings this season and currently has a 2-3 record with a 4.97 ERA.
IU Southeast is currently 8-10 overall. They will return to action on March 15th when they host Marian College for a doubleheader.
