Indiana University Southeast freshman Jordan Batliner was named the KIAC softball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 12th.
Batliner hit safely in all four games played last week and finished the week with a .714 batting average (10-for-14). The IU Southeast freshman was 3-for-3 against Concordia and 4-for-4 against Bluefield State. For the week, she had a double, 2 triples, and 12 runs batted in. Batliner is currently hitting .415 (17-for-41) and leads the Grenadiers with a .561 slugging percentage.
IU Southeast is currently 8-10 overall. They will return to action on March 15th when they host Marian College for a doubleheader.
