Mary Ann Warford, Asbury University - Softball Player of the Week

5-5 Senior -Lawrenceburg, KY

Asbury University senior Mary Ann Warford was named the KIAC softball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 16^th. This is her second player of the week award for the season.

Warford led the Eagles to a winning week as they finished with a 4-3 record. The senior center fielder collected at least one hit in all seven games played last week. She ended the week with a .560 batting average (14-for-25). Warford had 2 doubles, 4 runs batted in, 7 stolen bases, and scored 8 runs. She leads the KIAC with a .466 batting average and ranks 17^th in the NAIA. She also leads the KIAC in hits and stolen bases. Her 27 steals is 13^th nationally.

Asbury is currently 15-20 overall and 10-2 in conference play. They will return to action on April 17^th when they travel to IU Southeast for a doubleheader.
