Maris Harreld, Asbury University - Softball Pitcher of the Week

5-9 Junior - Brandenburg, KY

Asbury University junior Maris Harreld was named the KIAC softball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 2^nd. This is her second pitcher of the week award for the season.

Harreld pitched 15 innings in three games last week and earned the win in each contest. She didn't allow an earned run and struck out 11 total batters. The junior pitcher picked up wins against Midway College, Berea College, and Alice Lloyd College. She currently leads the KIAC and is 4^th in the NAIA with a 0.66 earned run average.

Asbury is currently 11-15 overall and 8-2 in conference play. They will return to action on April 2^nd when they host St. Catherine College for a doubleheader.
