Indiana University East senior Vanessa Legg was named the KIAC women's outdoor field athlete of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 30th. This is her fourth field athlete of the week award for the season.
IU East competed in the KIAC Championships on April 28th. Legg was the high scorer at the KIACI meet. She won the javelin event with a mark of 110-4. She was second in the high jump and third in the shot put. The IU East senior was named the KIAC women's track and field athlete of the year for the second consecutive year.
