Women's Soccer Conference Preseason Poll Released
Asbury University Women's Soccer Preseason Favorite
The KIAC coaches have selected Asbury University as the preseason favorite in women's soccer for the 2012 season, conference officials announced Wednesday, August 15th. Asbury received 35 points including five first place votes. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own team. Asbury won the regular season and tournament championships last season. Cincinnati Christian was selected in the second position with 29 points, including one first place vote. Point Park joins the KIAC this season and was selected third with 25 points and one first place vote. Completing the poll are Carlow (20 points), Midway (19 points), Berea (11 points), and Brescia (8 points). The 2012 women's soccer season will begin in mid-August.
