Women's Soccer Uses Sport to Share COC Story
On Monday, Sept. 3rd, a group of women's soccer players from Berea College got to share the NAIA's character message with Madison Southern High School players.
The afternoon event gave the Lady Mountaineers the opportunity to discuss the five core character values of the NAIA (responsibility, respect, servant leadership, integrity and sportsmanship) with the high school team. As a part of the day, the Berea College players also got to assist with conducting a practice/training session with the Lady Eagles.
Berea College Assistant Coach Danielle Maggs was pleased with the effort put forth by the ladies and shared the team's enjoyment and desire to conduct a similar session with other local teams.
