Gabe McNeal, Point Park University -- Men's Basketball Player of the Week

6-1 Junior – Richmond, VA

Point Park University junior Gabe McNeal was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, January 7^th.

McNeal averaged 26 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4 steals while leading the Pioneers to a 2-0 record last week. He connected on 58.3 percent (21-of-36) of his field goal attempts. He opened the week with a double-double against Asbury University. The junior guard scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the 102-97 victory. He finished the week with 27 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals in an 80-74 win against Alice Lloyd College.

The Pioneers are currently 8-6 overall and 4-4 in conference play. They will return to action on January 7^th when they travel to Penn State-Fayette.
