Shanda Painter, Asbury University – Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Asbury University freshman Shanda Painter was named the KIAC women's soccer offensive player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 11th. This is her third player of the week award of the season. Asbury won the KIAC tournament championship last week after defeating Cincinnati Christian University 3-2 and Point Park University 2-1 in the finals. Painter scored two goals in both contests and added the game winning goal against Point Park in the championship on Saturday. She currently has 16 goals on the season. Asbury will advance to the NAIA National Tournament later this month.
