Gabe McNeal, Point Park University -- Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Point Park University senior Gabe McNeal was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 25^th.

Point Park University finished the week 1-3 after defeating Penn State-Fayette 102-87 and falling to NCAA Division II West Liberty State 141-105, Centre College 80-76 and Indiana University Kokomo 116-106. In four games last week, McNeal averaged 25.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. He recorded 29 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in the loss to West Liberty. He followed that with 21 points and 9 rebounds in the win against Penn State-Fayette. The junior guard had 13 points against Centre and finished with 38 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists against IU Kokomo. McNeal connected on 51.9 percent (41-of-79) of his field goal attempts. He currently ranks 16^th in NAIA Division II points per game (22.5).

The Pioneers are currently 5-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play. They will return to action on December 7^th when they host Alice Lloyd College.
