Point Park University senior Katresa Savisky was named the KIAC women's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 4th. The Pioneers' only contest last week was against Madonna University. Both schools received votes in the NAIA preseason coaches' poll. Point Park won the contest 77-74. Savisky had a team-high 19 points to go along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals in the game. The Point Park senior made two free throws with two seconds left to clinch the victory. The Pioneers are currently 2-0 on the season. They will return to action on November 9th when they travel to Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
