DJ McCommons, Cincinnati Christian University -- Men's Basketball Player of the Week

5-9 Sophomore – Dayton, OH

Cincinnati Christian University sophomore DJ McCommons was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, December 16th.

Cincinnati Christian won their only contest last week, defeating Wright State University-Lake by a score of 124-71. McCommons finished the game with 8 rebounds and 20 assists. His 20 assists in the game broke the single game school record. The sophomore guard currently ranks 3rd in the KIAC with 5.60 assists per game. His 5.6 assists also ranks 20th in NAIA Division II.

Cincinnati Christian University is currently 7-3 overall and 1-0 in conference play. They will return to action on December 21st when they host Huntington University.
