Kayla Kiriau, Point Park University -- Women's Basketball Player of the Week

5-9 Junior – Wellington, New Zealand

Point Park University junior Kayla Kiriau was named the KIAC women's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, December 16^th.

Point Park University won their only contest last week, defeating Brescia University in conference play by a score of 91-62. Kiriau finished the game with 15 points, 4 assists and 4 steals. The junior guard connected on 66.7 percent (6-of-9) from the field including 75 percent (3-of-4) from behind the 3-point line. She currently ranks 4^th in the KIAC with 2.80 steals per game and is 5^th with 4.2 assists per game. Her 2.80 steals per game ranks 26^th in NAIA Division II.

The Pioneers are currently 10-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play. They will return to action on December 17^th when they travel to LaRoche College.
