Heather Wheat, Indiana University Southeast -- Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Indiana University Southeast junior Heather Wheat was named the KIAC women's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, December 2nd. This is her second player of the week award of the season.

Indiana University Southeast lost their only contest last week, losing to Lindsey Wilson 87-67. Wheat recorded 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the contest. She connected on 75 percent (9-of-12) of her field goal attempts. The junior guard is averaging 14.43 points per game on the season. She ranks 31st in NAIA Division II assists per game (4.429).

The Grenadiers are currently 4-3 overall and 1-0 in conference play. They will return to action on December 3rd when they travel to Asbury University.
