Asbury University freshman Summer Rattliff was named the KIAC softball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 25th.
Rattliff pitched 12 innings over 2 games last week and earned the win in both contests as the Eagles finished the week 4-0. She only allowed a single hit in a 3-0 win against Ohio Christian and struck out four. She finished the week with a five inning effort as Asbury defeated Carlow University 10-0. She struck out 7 Carlow batters. Ratliff is currently 3-3 on the season.
Asbury University is currently 6-8 overall and 3-1 in conference play. They will return to action on March 26th when they host Midway College for a doubleheader.
