Austin Houchens, Berea College – Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

Junior – Bowling Green, KY

Berea College junior Austin Houchens was named the KIAC men's outdoor track athlete of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 1^st.

Berea College participated in the Lindsey Wilson Invitational on March 30^th. Houchens finished in the top three in three separate events while leading the Mountaineers to a third place finish. He won the 800m event with a time of 2:01.31. Houchens also finished second in the 1500m with a time of 4:03.34. His 4x400 relay team placed third with a time of 3:35.04. The Berea College men team finished third out of eight teams at the meet. They will return to action on April 6^th at the Centre College Invitational and Bellarmine University Invitational.
