Ashley Morran, Point Park University – Softball Player of the Week

5-10 Junior – Washington, PA

Point Park University junior Ashley Morran was named the KIAC softball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 22nd.

Morran finished the week with a .550 batting average (11-for-20) as the Pioneers finished the week with a 5-1 record. The junior second baseman had 4 homeruns, 10 runs batted in, 3 doubles, 3 walks and 9 runs scored. Morran is hitting .373 on the season (44-for-118) and leads the Pioneers with 8 homeruns, 13 doubles and 44 runs batted in.

Point Park University is 25-11 overall and 18-6 in conference play. They will return to action on April 22nd when they host Edinboro University for a doubleheader.
