Derek Blank, Indiana University East – Men's Tennis Player of the Week

Sophomore – Buchanan, MI

Indiana University East sophomore Derek Blank was named the KIAC men's tennis player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 8^th.

Blank finished the week 8-0 after winning all 4 doubles matches and all 4 singles matches. The IU East sophomore set a school record for consecutive doubles wins and matched a school record for consecutive singles wins. On the season, Blank is 6-1 in singles play and 7-0 in doubles play. The Red Wolves finished the week 3-1 and are now 5-2 this spring. They will return to action on April 10^th when they travel to Transylvania University.
