Indiana University Southeast freshman Whitney Batliner was named the KIAC women's tennis player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, September 16th. IU Southeast finished the week with a pair of wins against Brescia University (6-3) and Franklin College (5-4). Batliner won her #3 singles match against Brescia 6-3, 6-4 and her #1 doubles match 8-6. She won here #3 singles match against Franklin College 6-2, 6-1 and her #1 doubles match 8-2. The Grenadiers are 2-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play. They will return to action on September 21st when they host St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
