Berea College junior Daishon Robinson was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, January 20th.
Berea College finished the week 2-0 after earning a pair of conference road wins. They defeated Alice Lloyd College 79-67 and Point Park University 89-80. Robinson finished the week averaging 24.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5 assists. He connected on 48.6 percent (18-of-37) of his field goal attempts. The junior guard recorded 26 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists in the win against Alice Lloyd. He finished the week with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals in the win against Point Park. Robinson is 2nd in KIAC points per game (19.88) and is 3rd in assists per game (5.44).
Berea College is currently 11-6 overall and 4-3 in conference play. They will return to action on January 21st when they host Indiana University Southeast.
