Asbury University senior Sarah Sterling was named the KIAC volleyball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 13th. Asbury finished the week 3-0 after defeating IU Southeast 3-1, Illinois Wesleyan 3-1 and Transylvania University 3-1. Sterling recorded double digit kills in each contest, averaging 14 in three games last week. She is 6th in the KIAC with 217 total kills. The Eagles are currently 26-6 overall and 6-0 in conference play. They will return to action on October 14th when they host the University of Rio Grande.
