CCU Men's Basketball Continues Community Service

The men's basketball team keeps their community service hours going as they help out with various projects throughout the city.

The team was not in the gym this past Saturday from 7:00 am until 11:00 am. They were found spending their Saturday morning serving the Community. The Queen Bee Half Marathon was this past weekend with close to or over 3,000 runners. The Eagles were at mile marker 8, serving water and gatorade to all the Queen Bee runners.

The team really showed some enthusiasm by starting different chants, slow claps, and dances to encourage the runners on their 21.097494 kilometer journey. Head Coach Kellen Zawadzki said, "It was really neat to see them help and work. Our guys did a great job in embracing the moment and being involved. They created tunnels for the runners to run through along with a classic cheer, the wave."
