Point Park University senior Lucas Silva was named the KIAC men's soccer offensive player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 20th. This is his second offensive player of the week award of the season. No. 22 Point Park finished the week 4-0. Silva finished the week with ten goals and two assists. The senior forward scored two goals and had an assist in the 10-0 win against Penn-State Beaver. He also had two goals and an assist in the 4-0 win against Washington & Jefferson. The Point Park senior followed that with three goals in the 4-2 win against St. Catharine and finished the week with three goals in the 7-0 win against Brescia. Silva ranks 4th in NAIA total goals (18) and total points (40). The Pioneers improved to 11-2 overall. They will return to action on October 21st when they travel to Grove City College.
