Men's Cross Country Individual Awards
Berea, Ky. (November 10th, 2014) - The KIAC released the men's cross country all-conference teams, runner of the year, newcomer of the year and coach of the year Monday, November 10th.
University of Rio Grande sophomore Dallas guy was named the KIAC runner of the year after winning the 8K event at the KIAC Championship with a time of 27:05. Guy was also named KIAC Runner of the Week twice this season. Rio Grande head coach Bob Willey was also named the league's Coach of the Year.
Point Park freshman Eric Torres was named the KIAC newcomer of the year. Torres finished 2nd in the 8K event at the KIAC Championship with a time of 27:18. The top 7 runners at the KIAC Championship were named All-Conference First Team, while runners 8-14 were named All-Conference Second Team.
