Women's Cross Country Individual Awards

Berea, Ky. (November 10^th, 2014) - The KIAC released the women's cross country all-conference teams, runner of the year, newcomer of the year, comeback runner of the year and coach of the year Monday, November 10^th.

Asbury University sophomore Katy Falkenberg was named the KIAC runner of the year after winning the 5K event at the KIAC Championship with a time of 19:13. Falkenberg was also named KIAC Runner of the Week three times this season. Asbury head coach Randy Crist was also named the league's Coach of the Year.

Point Park freshman Katie Guarnaccia was named the KIAC newcomer of the year and Rio Grande sophomore Stephanie Gruenberg was named the Comeback Runner of the Year. The top 7 runners at the KIAC Championship were named All-Conference First Team, while runners 8-14 were named All-Conference Second Team.
