Mitch McLeish, Cincinnati Christian University -- Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Cincinnati Christian University junior Mitch McLeish was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, December 29^th. This is his second player of the week award of the season.

Cincinnati Christian finished the week 2-0 after defeating Saint Xavier University 74-62 and Saint Ambrose University 71-47. In two games last week, McLeish averaged 18.5 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists. He shot 45.5 percent (5-of-11) from behind the 3-point line. The junior guard recorded 23 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in the win against Saint Xavier. He finished the week with 14 points and 9 rebounds in the win against Saint Ambrose. McLeish ranks 9^th in the KIAC in points per game (14.24) and is 4^th in 3-point field goal percentage (46.3).

The Eagles are currently 12-5 overall. They will return to action on January 13^th when they open conference play with IU Southeast at home.
