Jerah'me Williams, Point Park University -- Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Point Park University junior Jerah'me Williams was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, December 8th.

Point Park University finished the week 2-2. They defeated the University of Maine at Fort Kent 94-72 and Cincinnati Christian University 75-71. They fell to West Virginia Institute of Technology 90-70 and Washing Adventist University 81-77. Williams averaged 16 points, 3 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.3 steals in four games last week. He started the week with 10 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals against Maine-Fort Kent. He then tallied 11 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists in the lost to West Virginia Tech. The junior guard had 17 points and 5 steals against Washington Adventist. He finished the week with 26 points and 5 assists against Cincinnati Christian. He was also 5-of-9 from behind the 3-point line in the game. He is second in the KIAC with 20.33 points per game and leads the conference in assists per game with 7.33. His 7.33 assists per game average also ranks 3rd in NAIA Division II.

The Pioneers are currently 8-4 overall. They will return to action on January 3rd when they travel to Asbury University.
