Indiana University East senior Josh Cook was named the KIAC men's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, February 24th.
Indiana University East won their only contest last week, defeating Point Park University 96-94 on the road. Cook led the Red Wolves to the win with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 2 block and 2 steals. He shot 77.8 percent (7-of-9) from the field and 85.7 percent (6-of-7) from behind the 3-point line. The senior forward is averaging 6.3 points and 3.7 rebounds this season.
Indiana University East is currently 11-19 overall and 7-10 in conference play. They will return to action on February 25th when they travel to Cincinnati Christian for opening round play of the KIAC Tournament.
