Erika Parks, Berea College -- Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Berea College junior Erika Parks was named the KIAC women's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, February 24^th.

Berea College finished the week 1-1 after falling to Alice Lloyd College 85-83 and defeating Brescia University 99-81. Parks finished the week averaging 26.5 points, 2 assists and 1.5 steals. She connected on 57.6 percent (19-of-33) of her field goal attempts and 54.2 percent (13-of-24) from behind the 3-point line. The junior guard tallied 42 points, 3 assists and 2 steals in the win against Brescia. She also made ten 3-point shots in the contest, which was two shy of the Berea College record for a single game. Parks is 6^th in the KIAC with an average of 18.08 points per game. She also ranks 6^th in NAIA Division II total 3-point field goals made (94).

Berea College is currently 13-12 overall and 9-8 in conference play. They will return to action on February 25^th when they travel to Indiana University Southeast for opening round play of the KIAC Tournament.
