Indiana University Southeast freshman Cadie Povaleri was named the KIAC softball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 17th.
Povaleri drove in a pair of runs on a double in her only game last week as the Grenadiers defeated Concordia 4-3. She also scored later in the inning. The IU Southeast senior is batting .364 on the season (4-for-11). She has 2 doubles, 4 runs batted in and a double in 7 games played.
Indiana University Southeast is currently 6-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play. They will return to action on March 18th when they host Hanover College for a doubleheader.
