Megan Dyer, Point Park University – Softball Pitcher of the Week

5-8 Junior – Orion, MI

Point Park University junior Megan Dyer was named the KIAC softball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 31st.

Dyer finished the week 2-0 with a 1.50 earned run average in two complete games. She pitched a shutout against Midway College and also earned the victory in a 4-3 Pioneer win against NCAA Division II Malone College (Ohio). She struck out 13 batters on the week. Dyer is 2nd in the KIAC with a 2.71 earned run average in 31 innings pitched and leads the league in opposing batting average (.200).

Point Park University is 11-8 overall and 6-1 in conference play. They will return to action on April 2nd when they travel to Penn State-Fayette for a doubleheader.
