Breanna Sims, Berea College – Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

Freshman – Boaz, AL

Berea College freshman Breanna Sims was named the KIAC women's outdoor field athlete of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 31^st. This is her second outdoor field athlete of the week award of the season.

Berea College participated in the Lindsey Wilson Invitational on March 29^th. Sims finished 1^st out of 19 athletes in the javelin with a throw of 31.10 meters. The event included temperatures in the 30s and wind gusts of 22mph. Berea College track and field will return to action on April 5^th at the Centre College Invitational in Danville, KY.
