Jessica Leanhart, Indiana University Southeast – Softball Pitcher of the Week

5-8 Freshman – Louisville, KY

Indiana University Southeast freshman Jessica Leanhart was named the KIAC softball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 21^st. This is her fifth pitcher of the week award of the season.

In her only outing last week, Leanhart threw a 1-hitter against Berea College as IU Southeast won the game 3-0. She didn't walk any IU Southeast batters and struck out nine. She ranks 2^nd in the KIAC with a 2.20 earned run average, 3^rd in strike outs (90), 2^nd in opposing batting average (.228) and leads the conference with 13 wins.

Indiana University Southeast is 29-10 overall and lead the conference with a 17-3 record. They will return to action on April 21^st when they host Midway College for a doubleheader.
