Jessica Leanhart, Indiana University Southeast – Softball Pitcher of the Week

5-8 Freshman – Louisville, KY

Indiana University Southeast freshman Jessica Leanhart was named the KIAC softball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 27^th. This is her sixth pitcher of the week award of the season.

In four outings last week, Leanhart finished with a 4-0 record and 1.40 earned run average in 20 innings pitched. She threw 5 innings in all four games and struck out 22 total batters while only walking 2 opposing batters. She improved her record to 17-2 with a 2.15 ERA and has 106 strikeouts in 102 innings. She ranks 2^nd in the KIAC with a 2.15 ERA, 2^nd in opposing batting average (.225) and leads the conference with 17 wins.

Indiana University Southeast is 37-10 overall and leads the conference with a 25-3 record. They will return to action on April 29^th when they host Spalding University for a doubleheader.
