Simone Brown, Berea College – Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

Berea College freshman Simone Brown was named the KIAC women's outdoor field athlete of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, April 27^th. This is her third outdoor field athlete of the week award of the season.

Berea College participated in the KIAC Conference Championships April 26^th at Berea College. Simone broke the high jump record for the third time this season, this time with a national qualifying jump of 1.65m. She is currently tied for 12^th in the nation in the event. She also won the long jump (4.61m) and triple jump (10.23m). She was named the top female newcomer in the conference.
