Charles (Buddy) Gallemore to lead Lady Eagles

(Midway, Ky.) – Midway College Eagles Athletics has announced that Charles (Buddy) Gallemore has been named Head Volleyball Coach for the 2014-2015 season.

"I'm looking forward to bringing Buddy's leadership and experience to our athletics program where he will help us strive for excellence both on the court and in the classroom," said Jim Tussey, Director of Athletics at Midway College. "I know he'll be a tremendous asset to our volleyball program."

Gallemore, who also serves as an assistant coach for Midway's softball team, has over 20 years of experience in volleyball as a coach, official and player at the high school and collegiate levels. In his most recent coaching position, he twice led Bullitt Central High School's volleyball team to the regional semi-finals. A native of Bluefield, Va., he now resides in Frankfort, Ky.

Midway College Eagles Athletics offers seven competitive sports and three equestrian programs for women studying at Midway College. The college is part of the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) and Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA).
