Women's Soccer Preseason Poll Released
Asbury University Women's Soccer Preseason Favorite
The KIAC coaches have selected Asbury University as the preseason favorite in women's soccer for the 2014 season, conference officials announced Thursday, August 14th. Asbury received 27 points including three first place votes. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own team. Point Park University was selected in the second position with 24 points, including two first place votes. Conference newcomer University of Rio Grande is third with 23 points and one first place vote. Completing the poll are Carlow University (22 points), Cincinnati Christian University (14 points), Brescia University (9 points) and Midway College (7 points). The 2014 women's soccer season will begin in late August and will conclude with the conference tournament in November.
