Asbury University senior Allison Rehner was named the KIAC volleyball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, September 1st. Asbury University finished the week 4-2 after defeating Martin Methodist (3-0), Hannibal-LaGrange University (3-0), Milligan College (3-0) and Tennessee Wesleyan (3-0). The Eagles fell to St. Catharine (3-0) and University of the Cumberlands (3-1). Rehner had three double-digit kill games with 10 against St. Catharine, 15 against University of the Cumberlands and 12 against Tennessee Weslyan. She finished with an attack percentage of .429 and was named to the all-tournament team at the Milligan Madness Tournament. Asbury University is currently 6-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play. They will return to action on 2nd when they play Bethel University and Reinhardt University in McKenzie, TN.
