Asbury University sophomore Doug Ward was named the KIAC men's soccer offensive player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, September 22nd. Asbury won their only contest of the week, defeating NCAA Division II Travecca Nazarene University 1-0. Ward scored the game-winner for the Eagles. Asbury is currently 3-3 overall and will return to action on September 23rd when they travel to Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
