Point Park University senior Angie Abel was named the KIAC women's soccer defensive player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, September 29th. Point Park won their only contest of the week, defeating Geneva College 1-0. Abel, playing center back for Point Park, led a strong defensive effort by Point Park to secure the win. The Pioneers improved to 3-7 overall on the season. They will return to action on September 30th when they travel to Waynesburg College.
