Kali Whiteside, Asbury University -- Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Asbury University sophomore Kali Whiteside was named the KIAC women's basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, January 5^th.

Asbury University finished the week 3-1 while recording a pair of wins against ranked opponents. For the week, Whiteside averaged 7.3 points, 10 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game. She made 48.3 percent (14-of-29) of her field goal attempts in four games. The sophomore forward recorded 8 points and 4 rebounds in the win against No. 7 College of Saint Mary. She also recorded 8 points and 18 rebounds against No. 22 Point Park University. Whiteside ranks 3^rd in the KIAC with 8.93 rebounds per game and 2^nd with 1.21 blocks per game.

The Eagles are currently 12-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play. They will return to action on January 6^th when they travel to Midway College.
